Good food is the secret to a lasting marriage

Have you ever wondered why most men cheat on their wives with their house help? Well the answer isn’t far from the truth, if you do a full analysis of the situation, you will find out there is something the maid is actually doing that the wife isn’t, which is serving the boss with good food. This has always been the problems of modern marriages, where the maids are in charge of everything including cooking, the purpose of getting a wife is to cater for all your needs which includes cooking for you and the entire family. They say “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach,” the same stomach which the maid cooks for day in day out. The excuse most women give is “I am a career woman, I work early and come home late and tired,” for me I don’t see this as an excuse at all. I mean there is an invention called a freezer, you can’t tell me you work weekends too, and the best solution is to cook your stew and soup for the week maybe on Saturdays or Sundays. In order to keep your marriage very much alive, you will need to make sacrifices which include quality time with your husband. The maid is there to assist you and not to replace or substitute you, the moment you as a woman neglect your duties as a wife then automatically you forfeit every rights, roles, and benefits of a wife.
During the time of our grandparents’ marriages last longer and for eternity, our grandmothers loved and cherished their husbands, they obeyed and supported their husbands, they took care of their husbands and the entire household. Similar to our modern wives, who do exactly these things for their husbands, and yet still have marital problems and lose their husbands to their maids or some side chick out there. What is that one thing they are doing wrong? What differentiates our modern wives from our grandmothers? What is that one thing our grandmothers did right that our modern wives aren’t doing? Well the answer isn’t far-fetched “good food,” good food is that one thing missing, our grandmothers filled the bellies of their husbands with properly cooked and delicious meals. How many of our wives know how to cook, how many of our daughters learnt how to cook before getting married, how do you expect to have a happy home when you as a wife keeps feeding your husband road side food, or your husband coming home to meet a meal prepared by the maid, then what stops he from making out with the maid? Absolutely nothing, as a wife you need to make out time for your family and most especially your husband. Loving and taking good care of your husband’s needs is vital in marriage, but “good food” is the secret to a long lasting marriage.
